Can a speed camera flash you and get you if there is thick fog around?

It would have to be really really thick fog to not get your number plate and if the fog was that thick it would be rather foolish of you to be speeding. brbrIf you did get flashed just have to hope the camera was out of film. brbrMerry Christmas.
